Great success for the first International Jazz Academy held in Paro from 7 to 13 July, 2011 under the artistic direction of Marc Buronfosse (bass player and teacher in the Paris national conservatory of region ) with a great team of teachers such as Vincent Bourgeyx, piano –  Sara Lazarus, vocals – Alexandra Grimal, saxophone – Joe Quitzke, drums and Marc Buronfosse, contrebasse

The 2nd Kalamata Jazz Festival will take place from July 22 to July 24, 2011.The Festival this year will focus on young Greek artists who come and move in jazz and are in need of visibility and communication with the public. These artists loyal to their personal aesthetic vision through the difficulties they have met, managed to emerge internationally in a demanding arena like the jazz scene.The style of music covers a wide range of musical styles, always within the overall aesthetics of jazz. From the classical vocal quartet with saxophone accompaniment to the most sophisticated composers and arrangers of jazz and afro beat.


“20 years Jazz on the Hill “! Sani Festival is a remarkable celebration of world and classical music, bringing together a truly varied mix of performers and an inspiring programme of events.

The Third Zante Jazz Festival will take place on the island of Zakynthos, from Friday 15 to Sunday, July 17, 2011.

The Zante Jazz Festival 2011 is a musical meeting of jazz and improvised music.


The three-day of Jazz Music “Jazz + Praxis” in Patras International Festival organized by the Cultural Organization of Patras Municipality having marked a significant route of high artistic result and great response by the musical public, this year Greek jazz music and other similar stylistic musical spaces are on the stage.


For the ninth consecutive year the best representatives of contemporary European music will gather in Preveza in western Greece for the well known PREVEZA JAZZ FESTIVAL.


For eleven consecutive years, the European Jazz Festival in “Technopolis”, Athens welcomes some of the most creative European musicians. Artists of the European Jazz scene and many promising young musicians will perform for the biggest jazz event of Athens.


After last year’s success, the festival comes back this year for two nights full of Gypsy jazz sounds. May 20 & 21, at Kyttaro live, Athens.
