Guitarist
He was born in Athens. He studied guitar in Athens and Thessaloniki and in 1987 moves to Berklee College of music in Boston where he continues his studies on composition and arrangement. Between 1988 and 1990 takes part in Brandeis University Jazz band, under the direction of Ricky Ford. He plays in concerts with Milt Hinton, Charles Davis, Ran Blake, Kenny Burrell and many others, while at the same time he gigs with his own groups at various jazz clubs in Boston. From 1991 that he returned to Greece, he recorded his own material many times for the 3rd program of the National Radio Broadcast, played in jazz festivals and many gigs around the country, also collaborated and played live on stage with “14th day” dance company and composed the soundtracks for TV documentaries. He has played and toured Greece and Balkans with Lee Konitz, Mark Turner, Graig Bailey, Sam Newsome, Rob Dixon, Roberto Gatto, Danilo Rea, Keith Copeland, Benjamin Henocq, Jakubu Griffin, Olivier Gatto and others.

His last CD released was in 2010 with “The Call” Kostas Maginas – Peter Salchev (Ano Kato records )
