Bass Player

Kostas Patsiotis was born in 1989 in Athens. He started playing electric bass at the age of thirteen. At the same time he was studying music theory and drums. In 2007 he was accepted in the Music Department of Ionian University. He entered the Jazz Program an gradually started doublebass lessons with accomplished teachers from Greece and abroad (Giorgos Georgiadis, Periklis Trivolis, Petros Klampanis, Manos Loutas, Olivier Gatto, Mark Abrams).
He has attended on masterclasses with: Karlheinz Miklin, Armen Donelian, Brent Sandy, Gilad Hekselman, Dimos Dimitriadis.
He was a participant and scholar at the “Summer Jazz Academy” 2009-2010, a program sponsored by Ionian University. He also participated at the 2nd IASJ Jazz Education Conference in 2010 in Corfu and at the 23rd IASJ Jazz Meeting 2013 in Denmark.
He has collaborated with Greek and International Jazz musicians such as: Giorgos Kontrafouris, Dimitris Kalatzis, Giorgos Krommydas, JD Walter, Maurice El Medioni, Gregor Hubner, Diminuita Swing Trio, and more.
From 2012 he has performed in France, Belgium and England.
