Saxophonist, Composer

Stavros was born in Athens in 1974. A great music lover since he was a kid, he decided to start learning music while being an adolescent and started composing pop tunes on the piano and writing poems which he turned into songs. During his Masters in Business in Boston, he took up the saxophone and when he returned to Greece took up sax lessons with Dimitris Vassilakis and piano lessons with Yiorgos Psihoyios.

In 2003 he founded “Music Artisans”, a company focusing on the promotion of jazz prodigees in Greece and abroad, while he has organized since then more than 25 concerts of renowned Jazz and Classical musicians. He is also occasionally appearing in small jazz combos playing saxophone. In 2008 he released his first selection of poems, under the name «Συνέχεια» (a word with two meanings – “Continuation” and “Continuously”).
